Our rental wheelchair vans are available by the day, week, month, or longer, insuring that you have 24-hour transportation for your needs.

Wheelchair Vans We Rent

Auto Assist vans are modified according to the recommendations and guidelines of The Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA) and The National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association (NMEDA). We always have knowledgeable mobility consultants available to demonstrate use of the adaptive features that ensure safe and comfortable transportation. Our Wheelchair Rental Vans Include:  

• 10'' Lowered floor
• Wheelchair Ramp
• Securement system for wheelchairs or scooters
• Power doors
• Plush Interiors
• Air Conditioning
• Automatic Transmission
• Outside Entry Control
• AM/FM radio and CD player
• Removable passenger seat

 Delivery Fees:

• Washington National - $90.00 drop off/ $90.00 pick up 
• BWI - $95.00 drop off/ $95.00 pick up
• Dulles - $95.00 drop off/$95.00 pick up
• Bethesda - $75.00 drop off/$75.00 pick up

Mileage Charges:

• Rental fee include 100 free miles per day, accumulative. Any additional mileage above and beyond this allotment is charged at $0.40 per mile.

Fuel Charges:

• Vehicles are delivered with a full tank of gas and should be returned with a full tank.  We will charge $5.00 a gallon for refueling.

Late Fees:

• We expect the Van back in the 24 hour frame work of the contract. Late fees will be applied at $12.00 an hour up to a day’s rental.

Policies:

• Delivery of vans 8:00am to 7:00pm no later!

Rental Deposit:

• A deposit is required to secure your reservation
  • We accept Visa, Master Card and American Express

 Policy:

• If you use a service animal, please inform us at the time of the reservation. Service animals are the ONLY animals allowed in our vehicle. Unauthorized pets will be subject to cleaning and damage charges of $75.00.
• No smoking in our Vans, a $100.00 clean up fee will be charged.

Cancellation Policy:

• Less than 72 hours’ notice - NO refund of the deposit 
• Note: Rental days are calculated on 24hour day
